Today's #LRBHelpfultip is that "you know you're a writer when you've learned that observing and listening are two of the most valuable things an author can do." This is something, as demonstrated by the picture, I found on Pintrest. It holds very true since to be a great author you need to be able to observe what's going on around you with all of your senses. This way you can recreate them in your work. Check back next Friday for another #LRBHelpfultip. And check back daily for updates on my writing and anything else!

Since I am too wound up to sleep, I decided to work on my book. Anytime I get to work on it, is a good time. I just finished editing chapter six and I'm feeling pretty good about the new additions and changes I've made. Spending half an hour on one chapter, especially when it happens to be a shorter one, means I must've done something good to it! Here's to sleepless nights and editing!
Keep on writing, Lindsey Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long since I've posted, I've been busy with the beginning of second semester at my school. Last night my best friend and I saw a Snowy Owl! We live in Virginia, it must be really lost! Being the HUGE Harry Potter fan, I named her Hedwig! So my #LRBHelpfultip for this week is to write a fantastic description on anything you see that is interesting or out of the ordinary. It can be a description of anything, the more interesting is just more fun. My interesting thing to write about will be my encounter with the fabulous Hedwig! I knew she couldn't be dead! :p Keep on writing, Lindsey |
