A quote a find particular meaningful right now with "Frankenstorm" beginning its rampage is one a received on a card from my mom last year. "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning how to dance in the rain." This quote is meaningful on how to deal with personal issues that are keeping you from being your happiest as well as just a good quote with Frankenstorm. Instead of being sad about the storm and how miserable it makes life, enjoy it and dance in the rain. Of course being a college student where calsses are beginning to be cancelled thanks to the storm, I don't have much to be sad about. :p

Writing takes many forms. From essays, to short stories, to novels, to simple shopping lists, and journals. One of the most stress relieving ways writing helps me is when I write in my diary. It sounds childish, but it helps me remember things that are important to me while also helping me vent about my daily life. I've used my diary for my own personal vent log for a very long time and it has helped me greatly. Just a thought, but if you're ever stressing, try keeping a journal of some sort or writing a letter as a way of relieving some of your stress. ~Lindsey Communication is a key concept in life, with people, and in your writing. Without it situations can explode and become way out of hand. In writing you have to be very good with how you have your characters interact and communicate with one another. If you have your characters communicate in a wrong manner, then it makes the scene and the entire piece very awkward.
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." ~Anonymous Today is my anniversary with my amazing boyfriend and this quote means even more. Every moment with him takes my breath away. That's what life is about. No matter how long we last, it's those moments I spend with him and with the other people I love that truly matter. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." ~Anonymous.
This quote is something that I've always really liked. I find it to be very true. For me, one of the moments that take my breath away would be when I'm reading through something I've written and it sounds so professional and as if it was written by someone who is already a published author. I've had that moment with the book I'm currently working on and I believe that it means it is (hopefully) good enough to be published! But, of course I am going to continue to work on edits. ~Lindsey |
